The Morgan Mirror is a university newspaper offered during the 1980s - 2000s. Unlike The Spokesman student newspaper, the paper focused on the accomplishments, news and sports of the university from a faculty and staff perspective, though student news is included. The pages of The Morgan Mirror illustrates the countless accomplishments of Morgan academicians who influence the world with excellence in scholarship. The paper covers national and international politicians and dignitaries who visit campus to exchange with the Morgan Community, some of whom make frequent visits, such as Washington, DC politicians and even presidents. The incredibly hard but transformational work of Morgan State University dignitaries like past president Earl S. Richardson and past faculty and U.S. Senator Kweisi Mfume are among the Morgan personalities who appear in multiple editions. Accomplishments like presentations at and recognitions from prestigious national and international organizations are announced.
