A guide to connect members of the Morgan Community with resources for data visualization.

Procedural charts are used to show ordered decision making or events.  These can be used with temporal data and individual components can be represented by different shaped elements or text.

Visualizations of Procedure

  • Flow Chart

A flowchart is used to represent a sequence of steps or activities arranged in order.  It is ofen used for manufacutring processes, algorithms, administrative or service processes.  The flow chart distingishes data sources, processes, decisions and more.

 

  • Gantt Chart

A Gannt chart is used to outline project management goals and timelines.  It is most often used to show anticipated timelines for projects.
