How to search for Books

How to locate print books in the library

Look at the LOCATION ITEMS field in the catalogue record.  In the example below, the record indicates that the book is available (in yellow), meaning it can be checked out, that it is located in the stacked (in green) meaning it is located on the 3rd floor, and it can be located on the shelf using the call number (in blue).  The Item in Place field indicates that the book is loanable (in orange) meaning it can be checked out.  If the book is in the Reference Collection of Davis Room special collections then it can only be used in the library and cannot be checked out.

Click on the Map It button to open a floor plan of the library to show where the shelf is located.
