Sustainable Urban Communities Program: How to find books

This guide will help students in the Urban Sustainability program find resources for their classwork .

Finding Books online and getting books off campus

  • Online Books

Richardson Library Provides access to over 1 million e-books that can be accessed through the Library Discovery System, or through the library catalogue.  NOTE:  The Library Discovery System requires loging in from off campus.  After logging in you qill be automatically directed to the search interface.

  • Print Books

If you live near campus you can check out print books directly from richardson Library with your BearCard.  As a Morgan Student you can also check out books with your BearCard from libraries around the state of Maryland affiliated with the University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions (USMAI). 

If you do not have a BearCard or do not have access to an USMAI affiliated library, it is recommended that you utilize the Inter-Library Loan Service at your local public Library.  Librarians there can help you find books an will identify a library that will oan to you the book you are looking for.
