The Morgan Makerspace is available to members of the Morgan community in order to access interactive resources such as 3d printers, Virtual Reality, editing software, and more! You can find us on the second floor of the library in Room 221. While we are open for walk ins, we highly recommend that users make a reservation to ensure that the equipment they would like to use is available.

The Lulzbot Taz 6 is an ideal printer for beginners- friendly to use interface and a high rate of print success means that this is the perfect machine for trying out printing for the first time.

The Foxalien CNC Router is ideal for carving wood projects and engravings. Our CNC routing software lets you import a G-code file to pre-program the path of the carving bit for professional-grade projects.

The Makerspace is home to three HTC Vive VR Headsets. Running on the HP V Backpack Mounting system means that you have totally wireless freedom of movement.
Need to shoot video for a project? The Innovation Hub offers a complete AV recording kit for anyone to use, regardless of experience level. Kit includes iPad recorder, mount, tripod, optical lens, two microphones and a green screen.
Come screen a movie for your class, club, or friends on our 75" television! Wireless headphones will be provided for up to 10 people to screen in the Lab.
All physical materials and equipment must remain in the Innovation Hub at all times. This equipment is not available for circulation.
Patrons are not permitted to use the Innovation Hub without staff present. Walk ins are available from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, and appointments may be schedules from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
All content created, modified, or streamed within the Innovation Hub must be legally obtained and licensed by the patron.
In the event that equipment is damaged by patrons, replacement fees will be assessed and levied by the library. These fees vary depending on the type of equipment and the extent of the damage.
Patrons may not use the 3d printers to manufacture any materials that are not appropriate for an academic setting. This includes, but is not limited to, weapons, materials of an explicit nature, or materials that are otherwise in violation of the Morgan State University Code of Student Conduct.
