The Innovation Hub is excited to host several courses and workshops to help students become more familiar with the materials and resources available to them here, and to develop technology focused skills in a small group, hands on environments.

The goal of our educational programming is to introduce technology skills to users in an informal setting without the need for lengthy commitments or grades. As such, all of our workshops are freely available for walk-in visitors, with no commitment needed. If you are curious about a topic you are welcome to drop in for a single session and ask questions! Registration is appreciated, but not required. No prior experience is necessary for any of our workshops.

 

Spring 2024 Workshops:
Learning with Arduino

Join us for an overview of our Arduino computer electronics kits. Learn about the different component parts, how they work, and how to program them with the Arduino IDE. Then bring it all together in your very own hands on project! 

Digital Design and Editing

Learn how to use an wide array of editing software hosted here at the makerspace, including Photoshop, Lightroom, TinkerCAD, Blender, and CapCut. Lessons are free form and guided by student interest. 

Introduction to 3d Printing

Come by the makerspace to learn about all of the 3d printers we have available for you to use! We will talk about the design process, slicing, and the different materials you can print with, and the mechanics of 3d printers.
