
This guide will help you use the library's Architectural resources. Use the tabs at the top of the guide to find information on Architecture.
Click on the Finding books tab to find information about searching the library catalogue, how to read call numbers, where architecture books area located in the library, accessing e-books and select e-books on architecture. The Finding Articles tab provides information on how to find articles in Primo OneSearch and in Architecture and general research databases. The databases contains library databases and some open source databases. The Baltimore and Maryland Resources contains resources about architecture in Baltimore City and environs. The Other resources contains links to professional organizations and some scholarship opportunities.

Historic American Buildings Survey The Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) and the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) collections are among the largest and most heavily used in the Prints and Photographs Division of the Library of Congress. The collections document achievements in architecture, engineering, and landscape design in the United States and its territories through a comprehensive range of building types, engineering technologies, and landscapes, including examples as diverse as the Pueblo of Acoma, houses, windmills, one-room schools, the Golden Gate Bridge, and buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
