  From the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, provides access to population, income, GDP, and more in a consistent geographical basis from 1969-2010.
• Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages

  From the U.S. Department and Labor, provides a quarterly count of employment and wages by industry at county, MSA, state and national levels.

  Uses data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to calculate "ratios that compare the concentration of a resource or activity, such as employment, in a defined area to that of a larger area or base."
